SOPHIE AMMANN

Born in Switzerland, Sophie obtained her Maturité Suisse, after which she continued her artistic education at the Tanz Akademie Zürich. In 2009, Sophie moved to Glasgow to pursue her studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she obtained a BA in Modern Ballet in 2012. Back in Switzerland, Sophie joined the Ballet Junior of Geneva for two years, where she had the opportunity to work with numerous choreographers such as Ioannis Mandafounis and Yann Marussisch, as well as learning repertoire by Lucinda Childs and Stijn Celis. In 2014, after graduating from the Ballet Junior, she co-founded Junebug Company, with whom she has performed in Switzerland as well as abroad. She obtained her MA in Cultural Management from Northumbria University in 2015. She worked as choreographic assistant with Marie-Caroline Hominal on the creation of Taxi Dancers, which premiered at the Théâtre de Vidy in Lausanne in May 2016, and took part in the recreation of the piece Cheer Leader by Karim Bel Kacem and Maud Blandel at the Arsenic in Lausanne in March 2016. After creating and performing WICCA with Junebug Company in February 2017, she danced in the piece Drop The Gogo by Woman’s Move. In October 2016, she undertook a one-month administrative internship with the organisation Dance Ireland to further develop her organisational skills.

Née en Suisse, Sophie obtient sa formation artistique à la Tanz Akademie Zürich, ainsi qu’au Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, où elle décroche un BA en Modern Ballet. De 2012-2014, elle intègre le Ballet Junior de Genève. En 2015, Sophie co-fonde le collectif Junebug Company, avec qui elle créé et présente des pièces en Suisse ainsi qu'à l'étranger. Parallèlement à son travail artistique, Sophie obtient un MA en Management Culturel avec Distinction à la Northumbria University en 2015. Elle travaille en tant qu'assistante chorégraphique pour Marie-Caroline Hominal sur la pièce Taxi-Dancers. Elle travaille en tant que danseuse pour Pauline Raineri (WAVE) et présente le solo Si | Si, ainsi que pour Think Tank Theatre dans Cheer Leader de Karim Bel Kacem et Maud Blandel. En 2017, elle danse dans la création Drop The Gogo de Woman’s Move. En octobre 2016, elle entreprend un stage administratif d’un mois avec Dance Ireland à Dublin, pour développer ses compétences organisationnelles. Depuis 2016, elle travaille aussi en tant qu’administratrice et attachée de presse pour Beaver Dam Cie.

ROSANNE BRIENS

Born in Coutances, in Lower Normadie (FR), a region whose beauty still inspires her, Rosanne grew up in an artistic setting and fell under the spell of dance very early on. She studied at the Conservatoire of Rouen, where she had the opportunity of performing pieces such as La Mort du Cygne by Thierry Malandain. In 2012, she joined the Ballet Junior de Genève, with whom she had the opportunity of working with internationally renowned choreographers such as Marina Mascarell, Ioannis Mandafounis and Cindy Van Acker. In 2014, whilst still dancing with the Ballet Junior de Genève, Rosanne co-founded Junebug Company, with whom she has performed at the Fête de la Musique (CH), Electron Festival (CH) as well as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (UK) among others. Rosanne has recently worked with French choreographer Olivier Dubois on the piece Sound of Music, written by Yan Duyvendak. In the beginning of 2016, she was part of the recreation of the piece Cheer Leader by Karim Bel Kacem and Maud Blandel. She is performing in the dance theatre production “L’Histoire du Soldat” by director Benjamin Knobil at the Chateau de Chillon in summer 2017. Parallel to her dance career, she is currently studying Art History with the University of Lille.

ERIN O'REILLY

Born in California, Erin studied at several dance schools in the United States, including The Washington School of Ballet (DC), the Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet (NYC), and the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. In 2012, she joined the Ballet Junior de Genève, with whom she danced for two years, working with choreographers such as Stijn Celis, Andonis Foniadakis, and Ken Ossola. Upon graduating, she was part of the creation of the piece Migratio with Cie Laura Tanner, which she performed in Geneva, Ticino (CH) and Venezuela. She co-founded Junebug Company, with whom she performed at several festivals in Switzerland and abroad. She presented the solo Si|Si and the duet Thelma, choreographed for her by Pauline Raineri (WAVE Co), and was referred to as a « performer to watch » by dance critic Lyndsey Winship (The Guardian) following her appearance in Resolution!2016 (UK). She performed in Laura Tanner’s latest piece Riders in the Sky, as well as Marine Besnard’s newest creation #rencontre. She is also a dancer with Woman’s Move and Beaver Dam Company, and is performing in Edouard Hue’s newest creation Meet Me Halfway at the Festival d’Avignon 2017.

Elle danse aussi pour Pauline Raineri (WAVE Company), qui créé sur elle le solo Si | Si ainsi que le duo Thelma. Erin participe à la création de Riders in the Sky par Laura Tanner, présenté à Genève. Elle travaille avec Marine Besnard pour sa nouvelle création #rencontre, ainsi qu’avec Sara Ezzell pour la pièce Cunt.
